Wall South


This statue was dedicated on Veterans Day, 2000. It represents the sons and daughters who lost fathers in Vietnam. It is featured in Albert Nahas’ book, “Warriors Remembered”:


The model for this statue was my daughter, Savanna. Coincidentally, Savanna was born on November 11th, Veterans Day. It was dedicated on Savanna’s fourth birthday in the year 2000. Savanna will turn 21 this Veterans Day. She is attending the University of West Florida in Pensacola majoring in Electrical Engineering.
